Even a middle aged man can learn how to swim efficient freestyle.
This is my case.
When my concept of swimming freestyle was "to keep pulling the water as hard as possible," I couldn't swim freestyle without more than a 2-minute rest each lap.
After I changed the concept to "quickly switching the sides then gliding longer," I could swim much easier and faster.
Below is the comparison at the same tempo.
When I focused on pulling, I brought bubbles instead of water.

Hardly no second kick
I watched this video over and over to improve my swim skill. I do swim every single day still I have difficulty in rotation my body is not good balanced. I want to swim like this some day.
It's gold video
There is a great difference betwen him and the oders.
thank you from Vietnam
Super class
graceful!!!
Beautiful swimming!
Another “power” swimmer here - this makes me want to take up swimming again! It looks so appealing to move through water economically, with ease. A metaphor for how to live.
its so much fun so overtake exhausted swimmers using this, zero bubbles, zero splashes, zero breaks… they either adore or hate
If you are a first time triathlete who is just interested in FINISHING without feeling destroyed... This might be the stroke for you. :)
😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👏👏👏
Thank you

Thank you Coach Shinji. This video have transformed me from a freestyle only swimmer into a fast breastroker. 👍👍👍
After a month of practice I was able to do this for 1 min. Everything just came together, kick, catch, ease. It felt wonderful!!! This stroke is actually not easy to do. For me at least. Takes relaxation, patience, streamline, and exquisite timing. Hopefully I can go slower, so in future I can go faster.
🎉
👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏thankyou for free guidence
Very helpful, thank you ❤
🙏🙏🙏
Godlike
Is it right to say he hardly kicks? All on the streamline
Poetry in motion.
Is someone pulling him with a fishline???

He's basically skating on water
Wow amazing !
He barely kicks, still his legs float high
Thank you so much.
Beautiful balance.
Wow, light bulb moment! The experiments for points 1 and 2 are so clear. Thank you!
Thankyou sir.
Ten million views! And with good reason - you make it look so effortless and enjoyable! Thank you for motivating me to keep improving.
